| Macmillan Cancer Support |
Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. Today, more than 2 million people in the UK are living with cancer and one in three of us will get cancer at some point in our lives. Cancer affects us all and we can all help to make people’s experience of it better. Macmillan Cancer Support aims to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer in the UK, no matter who they are or where they live and to be there for them at every stage of their cancer journey.
As treatments improve, more and more people are living with cancer in their daily lives. This means they need more than medical help, they also need practical, emotional and financial support.
We believe we can all help. We can raise money – through marathons, coffee mornings, street collections, sponsored events. We can give time – at cancer care centres, events, fundraising groups. We can share experiences – online, in the media, with each other. We are Macmillan.

| Round Table Children’s Wish |

Round Table Children’s Wish is a national charity operating in Great Britain and Ireland, granting wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses who are between the ages of 3 and 17.
Each child can choose to either do, have or meet someone special provided they have not received a wish from another wish-granting charity. This can be such a special time for the whole family and works a little magic into their lives at a difficult time when the child’s future in unpredictable.
Wish referrals have doubled in the first half of 2009 compared with the same time in 2008 and so your support is truly appreciated. We cannot do this valuable work without your help. Thank you.
